The flexible chandelier system “Flying Flames” combines the astonishing LED candles introduced in 2012 by Moritz Waldemeyer & Ingo Maurer with simple and functional LED downlight elements. The elements can be freely positioned with magnets on the plate of the ceiling canopy. The canopy contains the power supply and is available in two sizes. With Flying Flames, individual candle chandeliers can be designed. The number and color of the Flames elements can be freely chosen. Up to ten Flames and three downlights can be used per canopy. Material: Epoxy resin circuit board, powder-coated steel sheet, aluminum, plastic.
Light source
Flame Element: Two displays each with 128 dimmable LEDs, 0.6 W, 2700 K, CRI > 80 Ra. Downlight Element: 7 W, 2700 K, 730 lm, CRI > 95, EEC F (A-G). Equipped with built-in LED light sources that cannot be replaced by the user but only by qualified professionals.

Dimensions
Canopy 60 x 60 cm or 114 x 40 cm, height approx. 5 cm. Flame element 43 x 3 x approx. 0.3 cm, downlight element 14.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm. Cable length of flame elements: 200 cm. Cable length of downlight elements: 250 cm. Due to the small cable cross-section, special lengths are technically not possible.

Both versions of the canopy are made of white powder-coated steel sheet. The canopy contains an integrated electronic power supply with plug terminal for connecting up to ten flame elements (5 V DC) and three downlight elements (38 V DC). The brightness of the downlights can be adjusted via an integrated touch dimmer (with memory function). The intensity and speed of the flames can be changed using a button on the circuit board.
Colours
Flame Element: black, red, or white. Downlight Element: black or chrome. Canopy: white.
